Oak Tree Manor Spring Wedding

Oak Tree Manor Wedding | Jen and Manar

Here is another wedding we just love! We arrived at Jen’s hotel room early to make sure we had plenty of time to capture all the details, and of course her makeup. Jen is one of those brides that light up a room when she smiles, and that is how she greeted us. Being proactive in this part of the wedding sets the mood for the rest of the day. Us as photographers, have to know how to make each minute count, so that we have plenty of time to capture all the necessary moments.  Jen’s prep shots were no exception, so we knew we wanted to have those candid moments, but at the same time we want pretty pictures. For this, we always have a designated are that is specifically chosen for the shots.

Once we finished up with Jen, we headed out to the church were Manar was getting ready. To summarize, this location was much smaller than anticipated, but we knew we needed to make it work. Knowing that his brothers and his new father-in-law were going to be there, we knew these moments were going to be special. The ceremony lasted about an hour which is pretty typical for Catholic weddings, but once that was over, it was party time!

Arriving at Oak Tree Manor was pretty spectacular, this humongous oak tree sits in the middle of the property, and essentially is the main attraction. Moreover, the weather was just spectacular and it allowed for the reception to be done outside. We knew the reception was going to be outstanding as guest flew in from all over the world. The coordinators did a fantastic job at keeping the party moving, and we lost little to no time. Little did we know, but the main attraction was a traditional dance which literally gave us goosebumps! This is part of the reason we love weddings. From the toast to the first dances to the exit, this party never stopped, even when it rained! Needless to say, this is one of our favorites and has earned a spot in our featured gallery.
