Welcome
luxurious wedding at sandlewood manor | candace + Curtis
Sandlewood Manor is among the most beautiful venues in the Houston area as you can see from these images. The manor house is fashioned after an 1850’s antebellum mansion and it’s a stunning location for a lively cocktail hour, posh rehearsal dinner or intimate ceremony. The Chapel is architecturally designed to compliment the manor house and it’s filled with stunning detail. Carrera marble style floors, vaulted ceilings, and gorgeous chandeliers add to the captivating ambiance, and truly an exquisite atmosphere for Sandlewood couples to exchange their vows. Furthermore, the ballroom has jaw dropping chandeliers and floor to ceiling black granite fireplaces. The grand ballroom is pure elegance and luxury.
The day was beautiful and hot at the same time. We arrived with plenty of time to capture the important moments, such as the make up and candid moments. The manor house is a stunning place for photographs so we had to make sure we captured Candace and all her bridesmaids. Nevertheless, we incorporated her mom as much as possible. Curtis and his groomsmen were next on our list, and getting his shots was relatively easy.
The Ceremony took place inside the beautiful chapel and not outside, but after all, this is Texas and summers can be brutally hot. To our surprise, the chapel was full of guests which only adds to the excitement of the day. Curtis and the wedding party made their way to the front of the chapel and could not hold their tears in. Moreover, this is always a very emotional moment and we love capturing every single tear. Candace was escorted down the aisle by her dad and she looked stunning. Soon after their vow exchange, the party started inside the ballroom and let me tell ya… it was luxurious to the max! The party was non-stop and when it came to saying goodbye, well, they did it in style with a nice sparkler exit.
