I'm Julian, a photographer, husband and father of three.
Welcome
The ceremony was also something to remember. Rosy and I witnessed the love and passion they have for each other, and I think you can too, by looking at the photos. It is hard not to get choked up during moments like this and this wedding was no exception. Once the ceremony was over, the wedding party and couple’s portraits were just a breeze! They had so much energy and excitement, that it made it easy and fun. Additionally, their entrance was just as entertaining with them even chugging through a beer bong! The rest of the night turned out to be just as wild and it has definitely made it one of the funnest weddings I’ve ever done.
Rosy and I decided to start documenting the day with Lauren and her bridesmaids. We knew we had to capture every candid moment possible, as well as Lauren getting her makeup and hair done, and I think we succeeded. Capturing Zach and his groomsman was extremely fun as drinks and shots were flowing. Moreover, this made it very easy to capture those rare moments that everyone wants to remember. We all want to relive those moments through our wedding photographs, so that is something we strive to capture during a wedding day. Throughout the getting ready moments, Zach read a letter from his mom which provided those once in a lifetime moments to capture. I can only imagine what a mom would say to her son minutes before he officially leaves the nest. We were honored to be able to capture that special moment for not only his mom, but Lauren and Zach.
Have you ever given thought of what a beautiful wedding looks like? Well… I think this is it. Our day started off just like any wedding, arriving at the Balmorhea about 30 minutes early to scout the venue, and figure out our game plan. This day was cloudy for the most part, so we knew we would have some trouble with the lighting. Nevertheless, we have great knowledge and experience in working in low light situations.
