Talk about a luxurious wedding. Oben and Patrick got married at the beautiful heights villa near downtown Houston. This wedding took place during a cold winter day. Not to mention, the beginning of the hard covid times. Our day began with Oben and her bridesmaids getting ready. To this day, she has been one of the most punctual brides we have worked with. As a result, we were able to capture some great moments and not worry about the time. This gave us plenty of time to photograph Patrick and his groomsmen. As a result of all this, we had plenty of time to capture some bridal portraits of Oben and even do a first look without breaking a sweat.
The ceremony took place at a very small and intimate Catholic church. Patrick was full of excitement as Oben walked down the aisle. Moreover, Covid restrictions were just beginning, but you could still see the excitement glowing through his mask. After the ceremony, we all gather at Hermann Park to capture the wedding party plus bride and groom portraits. As seen here, this group was just fantastic to work with. Furthermore, they made it so easy to capture some epic moments.
We headed back to the heights villa for cocktail hour and followed by the reception. Let me tell you… the ballroom was something out of a fairytale. Furthermore, extravagant chandeliers, plate settings, lighting, etc… This was definitely a very luxurious and beautiful wedding for sure. The warm lighting created such a cozy feeling and made you want to dance at the same time. The DJ played the right music to get everyone out of their seats. Oben and Patrick knew the importance of a great wedding as you only get married once. For this reason, this is one of our favorite weddings.
