When I say you are about to scroll through one of my favorite weddings of all time…I MEAN IT!!! Taylor and Ben got married in February of 2021 when covid was still prevalent. However, this did not stop this beautiful wedding from happening. The venue is olde dobbin station in Montgomery, Tx and as you can see it’s beautiful. Sunny skies and cool weather dominated the whole day, and this allowed us to capture some great shots. Taylor had such a good attitude from the beginning as well as her bridesmaids.
The bridal room is located in between the ceremony and the reception, and it’s this little cute hut with plenty of sunlight coming in. Her girls were just so nice and you could feel their excitement. Capturing their getting ready photos was just so laidback. We ended up taking a bunch of candid photos of them, and also plenty of staged shots. Ben’s getting ready shots were a little different. Furthermore, he had a large group and by the time we got to them, they were all ready to go, so we lost no time. Getting some ‘bro’ shots was our goal as well as getting those natural laughs with the occasional joke.
Taylor and Ben decided to have a first look, and if you’re on the fence about this, well we highly recommend it. It provides more photos for you and it cuts down on the stress for the remainder of the day. For this first look, Taylor’s man of honor decided to play a joke on Ben. Take a look at the photos to see what I mean haha! Wedding party photos followed, and we even got a chance to do some bridal portraits in front of the beautiful front door. The ceremony was pretty exciting with them having a flower guy! The reception had plenty of good times, with dances, toasts, and the occasional selfies. This has been one of our favorite weddings due to the atmosphere this group created, and it will be remembered for years to come.
