Peach Creek Ranch Wedding

Last year, Julian had the honor to photograph Taylor and Justin’s engagement session. While I didn’t take part in photographing their session, I felt like I knew them and the love they share by simply admiring their beautiful engagement photographs.  I’m a believer in the phrase, “a person’s eyes are the window to their soul”, and Taylor’s eyes said a lot about her genuine heart and her love for Justin.  Additionally, in every picture, Justin lovingly embraced and gazed at Taylor, leaving no doubt of the love they share.  

Furthermore, the big day arrived! Taylor and Justin’s wedding took place in Peach Creek Ranch.  Peach Creek Ranch is a lovely Texas barn-style wedding venue located in College Station, TX.  Self-proclaimed hopeless romantic Aggies, Katie and Ryan are the owners of this beautiful place.  It always gives me great joy to see married couples going into business together (just like Julian and I).  Upon arrival, we made our way to the bridal cottage.  The makeup artists from Naturally Flawless were working on final touches on the gorgeous bride.  To say the least, Naturally Flawless did a great job at matching the appropriate eyeshadow shades to bring out Taylor’s beautiful blue eyes.  Staying right on schedule and as soon as hair and makeup was complete, we proceeded to shoot amazing and fun photos of the bride and bridesmaids in their robes.  Later, we took great photographs of all of them all dressed up and ready for the exciting day ahead.  

At last, the key moment of the day was about to begin and Amy from Always Blissful kept everything on track.  The ceremony took place outdoors right in front of the venue’s lake with a beautiful flower arrangement.  With perfect timing, the lake was giving off a magical reflection of warm colors to add to the happiness and joy of the day.  Once Taylor began making her way down the aisle, Justin could not contain his emotions as he watched his bride get closer and closer.  Without a doubt, my favorite moment was the braiding of The Cord of Three Strands.  It symbolizes the unity of one man, one woman and God in marriage.  

Furthermore, the hour of the reception had arrived and Texas Roadhouse was the caterer of choice. The beautiful cake was provided by Jennifer Howard which happens to be Justin’s aunt.  There was even a groom’s chocolate cake shaped like the Texas State and decorated with chocolate covered strawberries.  The DJ played great music and the dance floor was never empty.  The photobooth was always busy and the guest did not lose the opportunity to take pictures with all the fun props. Putting a romantic end to the night, Taylor and Justin did their grand wedding exit with long sparklers that luminated the night.  Nevertheless, Julian and I were full of joy and very happy for completing another lovely wedding.
