Welcome
Arriving at the botanic gardens is pretty amazing, you are first met with these beautiful tall trees that surround the entrance and lead you to the water fountain. The weather was in our favor with plenty of sun with some nice cloud coverage. I will say this though, it was really hot, but Eric was prepared with some water for all of us – what a nice touch! Furthermore, our session continued by walking about the garden and capturing their love for one another. There’s a section around the middle of the garden with pillars, and flowers that has a Greek style. This is by far my favorite part of the garden since it creates very elegant photos. Another beautiful area in the garden is a few feet from the pillars; there’s a walkway with tall trees on both the left and right side which just makes stunning walking photos. I could not be happier with the way these photos turned out. Having a beautiful couple, nice weather, and amazing attitude made this engagement session one of my favorites thus far.
I knew our engagement session would have to be memorable, right! Of course, I want to provide awesome location ideas for them to chose from. I wanted to make sure they could get some amazing photos they would cherish for the rest of their lives. So, I got to work in providing locations from Hermann Park, Buffalo Bayou Park, and even downtown Houston. However, Sarah did her research, and came up with Houston Botanic Gardens. Let me tell you, this was just the perfect location for them as you can see in these photos.
Sarah and Eric are one of the most interesting couples I have come across to this day. They are both engineers from up north who landed jobs here in Houston last year. I first met them on their first few months in this wonderful city. We talked about the differences they would be encountering here in Houston, such as, culture, food, weather, and of course the rodeo!
