Welcome
We arrived at Station 3 with plenty of time to capture photos of the outside as well as the details, and we were just awed in how intimate, yet beautiful this wedding was going to be. The ceremony spot is located on the first floor was filled with loved one witnessing the vow exchange. Guest moved to the cocktail hour located on the outside of the venue which was perfect with the weather being around 70F. Soon after, dinner was served upstairs in this cozy room with black hardwood floors. Speeches, toast, and cake cutting concluded this part of the day, and then it was time for the dancing. The DJ played plenty of 80s music as well as some recent hits, and this had the crowd going non-stop. Nights like these are hard to forget, and needless to say, this is one of the most elegant weddings we have done.
Hotel Zaza has a great location for photographs, and these include Museum of Natural Science, Hermann Park, Mecom Rockwell Colonnade, and Rice University, all within walking distance. We ended up choosing the Museum of Natural Science as this place can provide some very elegant photos, and also some shots with greenery. We ended up having about thirty minutes of portraits which was plenty of time to get some outstanding photos.
December the 18th was not just any Saturday, but the beginning of Susan and George’s new chapter in life. The day started out just like any other semi wintery day, cool weather, sunny skies, but most of all full of excitement. Arriving at hotel Zaza to get all the prep shots was just the start of a very elegant day. From the time you are greeted at the door, to the scent in the elevator, this place is just gorgeous. Capturing the getting ready photos was very stress-free as both Susan and George were so nice. We ended up doing a first look inside their suite since they wanted some privacy which we accomplished.
