As we made our way further in the University, we spotted a tall brick wall covered with vines. This was a spot that we couldn’t pass on! Vanessa and Alex stood with their backs against the wall while holding hands and exchanging a loving look. Vanessa’s white outfit made for a great contrast with the greenery around her. I surely can't wait to see her in white again! At the end of their session, we had a lively chat about wedding planning and shared tips on how to make their special day more special and flow smoothly. There’s no doubt that their day will be one to remember!
We began the engagement shoot in front of Rice University’s iconic Lovett Hall. Lovett Hall has a wonderful light brick facade that makes for a perfect scenery for a light and airy photography style. We then moved along the hall in between the wonderful columns and arches. The day was sunny and the weather was crisp which made for a refreshing and energizing engagement session!
Vanessa and Alex are such an amazing couple. When I first met them, I instantly noticed how perfect they are for one another. Alex was always looking after Vanessa and making sure she looked flawless for the pictures (which she always did!). He would help her adjust her outfit and, with a loving touch, clear strands of hair from her face. Alex knew how to keep Vanessa laughing and smiling for the camera.
